TrustStep
Parental controls, no spying

What it does
End the daily screen-time battles. Calm limits, bedtime and app rules on your child's iPhone or iPad, plus a fair way for kids to earn more. No spying.
Tired of fighting about screens every single day?
"Five more minutes." "That's not fair." "Everyone else is allowed." You take the phone away, they shut down, and tomorrow it starts again. Locking everything or reading every message doesn't build trust. It just makes the battle bigger.
HEALTHY BOUNDARIES. EARNED FREEDOM.
TrustStep sets calm, clear limits on your child's iPhone or iPad, and gives kids a fair way to earn more freedom by showing responsibility. You stop being the bad guy. They know exactly where they stand.
FOR PARENTS: PEACE OF MIND
- Daily time for groups of apps: Social, Games and Entertainment
- An optional total for the whole day
- Routines for School, Homework, Bedtime and Family Time
- Pause everything in one tap
- "Always allowed" apps keep working, such as Phone and Messages
- See when a limit is reached and about how much time was used today (estimates)
FOR KIDS: A FAIR WAY TO EARN MORE
- Tasks like homework, reading or tidying up earn points once you approve
- Bonus points when you notice a good choice, with a short note
- Rewards your family defines: extra minutes, picking the movie, a later bedtime
- Four trust levels, from Guided to Independent. Only you move your child up
- Their own view of tasks, points and progress
THEY ASK. YOU DECIDE.
When time runs out, your child sees a calm "Time's up" screen and can ask for more, with a reason. You approve, approve for points, or say not right now. Give extra time whenever it's deserved: +5, +15, +30 or +60 minutes.
NEW APPS ONLY WITH YOU
Installing apps is blocked on your child's device by default. When your child asks, you can open the App Store for 15 minutes, an hour, or until you turn it off. It locks again by itself.
CONTROL WITHOUT SPYING
TrustStep never reads messages, never tracks location and never collects browsing history. The apps you limit are picked in Apple's own private list on your child's device, so TrustStep learns how many you picked, never which ones. No ads, no ad trackers.
